The Dark Knight Rises continues its viral marketing campaign with the release of three pages from The Gotham Observer and it’s all about Harvey Dent!
The fictional paper reads: “Many hold the masked vigilante responsible for Dent’s death,” reads the article, “though authorities have never announced their efforts to make an arrest. While Batman still tops the Gotham City Police most-wanted list and the case remains open, little is known and there have been no recent developments.”
Batman is clearly the anti hero still with a Rogues football tournament and day at Wayne Manor planned- I think we know what’s going to happen here. Events at Wayne Manor never tend to go as planned.
With mentions to Anne Hathaway’s character Cat Woman committing burglaries and links to Rykin Data, who knows who else is out to get The Batman.
The Dark Knight Rises opens in the UK on 20 July 2012.
TDKR UPDATE: Bane’s Dialogue to be tweaked for release
DKR update..
We got the trailer and prologue all in one week (I mean Nolan was pretty generous just before Christmas) and it isn’t stopping there.
The one small issue/ doubt/ niggle was one I’m sure lots of people commented on and that was the sound quality of Bane’s voice. Warners commented that, Chris Nolan wanted “the audience to catch up and participate rather than push everything at them. He doesn’t dumb things down” and so we thought things would be left as they were.
But, as much as we loved the slightly romantic yet deeply unsettling nature of his voice, we are pleased to announce that Nolan has sent out a new audio mix to IMAX theatres in which Bane’s dialogue is far easier to understand according to Collider, who have also reported that background noise was adjusted to make Hardy’s voice that little bit easier to understand.
We just hope he doesn’t lose his mystery, well if it’s possible with such a mask on!?
AND we still cannot wait until the UK release on 20 July 2012!

First official image of Anne Hathaway as Cat Woman
You know you need better security when a cat steals your vehicle, especially when that vehicle happens to be your very special, very expensive, one-of-a-kind Bat Bike!
Okay, so we don’t actually know that it’s stolen and she’s not an actual cat but it’s still very cool to see this first official photo of Anne Hathaway in character as Cat Woman in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming Batman finale, The Dark Knight Rises!
What do you think of Cat Woman’s new look? Do you think Hathaway will do a better job than her predecessors?
Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy Poster
The brand new poster for Tomas Alfredson’s (Let The Right One In) take on John le Carré’s classic spy novel Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy was released yesterday. It features Gary Oldman in character as MI6 spook George Smiley, wonderfully masked under a mass of code - See if you can spot the release date hidden amongst it all!
The Dark Knight Rises - Official Teaser Trailer (HD)
In case you missed it the first time round, here’s the first official teaser (in all of its HD glory!) for the last in the trilogy of Christopher Nolan’s epic Batman series!
EDIT: Woah, that was quick! Seems like the video has already been removed. Did anyone get a chance to catch it?
The Dark Knight Rises trailer leaks online…
The folks over at Huffington Post somehow managed to get their hands on the above footage, showing what appears to be the first teaser trailer for Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises. It’s not particularly great quality but you can clearly make out the likes of Gary Oldman and Tom Hardy on-screen. Earlier in the week it was rumoured that the first trailer would be shown prior to the final Harry Potter films starting this Friday, which makes the likelihood of this footage being of the actual trailer even higher. You might want to watch this quick as we have no idea how long it’ll be up!
How much are you looking forward to the final movie in Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy?
The first official teaser poster for Christopher Nolan’s final Batman film The Dark Knight Rises has just been released! Check it out above!
p.s - did anyone else hear the rumours that the first teaser trailer for TDKR would be shown before the final Harry Potter film? I hope it’s true!!
Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy - Teaser Trailer
The first official teaser trailer for Let The Right One In director Tomas Alfredson’s much-anticipated Tinker Tailor Solder Spy starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Gary Oldman, Tom Hardy and Colin Firth was released earlier today.
