New Marvel Avengers Assemble posters!
Now you know how excited we are about this one here at hmv and we’re just wondering how we’ll wait until 27th April?!
The formerly named ‘The Avengers’ will then hit the US a week later on 4th May, and will be viewable in 3D and IMAX 3D.
NEW- ‘Upside Down’ French subtitled Trailer
Fresh from Juan Diego Solanas, Upside Down is a new tale of love, separation and two parallel worlds. Literally.
Mirroring the general storyline of Romeo and Juliet, characters Adam and Eve (No, seriously!) played by Tim Sturgess and Kirsten Dunst both live on opposite Earths.
Eve from Upper Earth, for the wealthy and successful, with all of lifes luxuries and Adam from the Lower Earth, for the average Joe who simply work to live, meet as children and fall in love.
After a series of robberies on Upper Earth are committed by people below, the border controls are tightened and no one is permitted to cross Earth. Yet in true heroic style, Adam makes it his goal to be with Eve no matter what it takes.
The political undertone is less than subtle, but any film that can bring star crossed lovers into a world resembling that in Inception causes a slight tingle down my spine.
NO release date as yet, due to no UK or US Distributor.
New poster release for The Paperboy
A thriller from John Daniels starring Zac Efron, Nicole Kidman and Matthew McConaughey.
Based around two brothers (Efron and McConaughey) trying to prove the innocence of a man on death row, Efron finds himself falling in love with the woman the accused has been writing to.
Embarking on a frowned upon affair, Nicole’s sultry looking character is sure to stir up some trouble with a very muscular looking Efron in toe (not that we’re complaining..)
It’s certainly a world away from High School Musical…
Adapted from the novel by Pete Dexter, The Paperboy has yet to receive an official release date, but is expected to arrive sometime in 2012.
